Dodgers Recall Kyle Farmer From Triple-A Oklahoma City

It seems as though the Dodgers have been missing that magic that they carried during the bulk of the season. Who better to bring that magic than Kyle Farmer, whose debut was just like a movie!

On Saturday the Dodgers announced that Kyle Farmer had been recalled from the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers.

In case you don’t remember, Kyle Farmer made his major league debut on July 30th and hit a walk-off, two-run double down the right field line! Before watching the video, be prepared to have a rush emotions flow through your head, reminiscing on the beauty that was the Dodgers in the middle of the season.

Before being sent back down to the minors, Kyle Farmer collected 4 hits in 12 at-bats. Bringing him up also frees up Austin Barnes to be used earlier in the game as a pinch hitter or even start at second base. This is crucial considering Barnes is hitting .298, with 6 home runs and 35 runs batted in.

Welcome back, Kyle Farmer! Hopefully you get enough chances in September to show your worth and secure a spot on the postseason roster!
