Tweets Of The Day: Dodgers Beat Diamondbacks, Clinch NL West
The Dodgers were back at it this afternoon with their second chance to clinch the NL West with Ricky Nolasco on the mound. In three starts against the Diamondbacks this season, Nolasco has only allowed two earned runs and looked to rebound from a tough start against the Giants.
Nolasco allowed five earned runs in only 1.1 innings on September 14 and it was the first poor start of his young Dodger career. Hanley Ramirez was back in the lineup after missing last night’s game, but Adrian Gonzalez was sitting out due to a sore quad that knocked him out of Tuesday’s game.
On the mound for the Diamondbacks was Wade Miley, who made two previous starts against the Dodgers was given the task of delaying the Dodgers celebration another day.
Here are the tweets of the day.
