While he isn’t hitting home runs so far this season, Matt Kemp took away a sure home run away from Braves outfielder Jason Heyward.

Heyward was the second batter of the game and hit a Chris Capuano pitch to left center and Kemp took over. Shaded more towards right center, Kemp came all the way over to snag Heyward’s hit and rob him of a home run.

So far this season, Kemp has hit only one home run and had his quiet 14-game hitting streak snapped last night. Kemp’s power has been a major topic early in the season for Dodger fans as his offseason shoulder surgery seems to have sapped all his power.

Regardless, Kemp made his best catch of the season by far and hopefully for Dodger fans he’ll start to hit for more power:
