The Dodgers have the best backup catcher in baseball and his name is Austin Barnes.
Barnes is currently posting a .935 OPS in nearly 100 at-bats over the course of the 2017. Offensively, he has been one of the most productive catchers in the league.
Defensively, he has shown his value by playing multiple positions.
Friday night he was able to show just how good he is as he mashed two home runs against the San Diego Padres.
