Cody Bellinger, who has been struggling lately, went 2-3 on Saturday in a 5-4 win over the Royals. One of those hits was home run number 25 for Bellinger, which tied the game up on the bottom of the 8th inning. However, the big Bellinger news came from his patience, not his power.

He came up with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th and walked, scoring the game-winning run! I’m sure fans were expecting something a bit more exciting, but a walk-off is a walk-off.

Is there anything this kid can’t do? Good luck in the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game, Cody!

Please forget the meaningless Homer Derby. It has messed up with people’s swing too often.
