WATCH: Roberts Gives Injury Updates on Kershaw, Bellinger and Darvish
Los Angeles Dodgers’ manager went on MLB Network’s High Heat with Christopher Russo on Monday morning to give an update on the injuries to three of the Dodgers’ biggest stars.
Roberts was able to give listeners great news by telling them all three are close to returning to the field.

Clayton Kershaw will be pitching a simulated game and if all goes well, the dodger ace will be headed out for a rehab assignment, putting him in line to return just as the calendar flips to September.
Cody Bellinger is still day-to-day with a sprained ankle. Roberts said that he will still be available to pinch-hit. He credited the return of Adrian Gonzalez, who has had quite a few great at-bats since his return, with allowing them to be comfortable in Cody’s absence.
Yu Darvish could have avoided going on the disabled list, but the team wanted to be extra careful with him as they move towards October. He will only be missing one start as Roberts said that he will be good to go for the series against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The team looks to be coming together at the perfect time of the season. The competition for playoff roster spots starts now, so you should see more motivation from a few of the borderline 25-man roster players.

What is the status of Brandon McCarthy? Never a mention of him from any sources for a long time. Last I heard he had blisters.
