UPDATE (Feb. 19, 9:00 a.m. PT): According to Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times, Yasiel Puig reported to Spring Training ahead of schedule for position players:

Since debuting with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2013, Yasiel Puig has quickly become one of the more recognizable professional athletes. While he presumably at times would prefer to live with more anonymity than he has, Puig doesn’t exactly shy away from the spotlight with his use of social media.

Over the weekend, Puig chronicled his trip to New York City for the NBA ALL-Star game on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. He’s previously used his Instagram account to document his first time experiencing snow, wish his followers a happy new year, show a fan in Japan impersonating him, and even mock himself.

It hasn’t just been fun and games however, as Puig’s also been sure to put his preparation for the 2015 season on display. While he isn’t expected at Camelback Ranch until Feb. 25, Puig was present at the Spring Training complex on Wednesday for what appeared to be tied to him being on the cover of MLB 15: The Show.

The first glimpse Puig offered was in this photo posted on Instagram of him manning the grill:
