In free agency, the Dodgers are reportedly the team of preference for Trevor Bauer. That could easily change with money though, and Bauer might get a much better deal from a team in New York. He is also reportedly seeking upwards of $250 million. Still, it’s good to know high-profile free agents still want to be here.

  1. If JT leaves it truly will be the end of an era. I think Edwin is ready, but I would be much more happy as a fan, watching JT ride off into the sunset with the Dodgers. He would be a perfect DH, if universal DH is approved. Losing Kiki already has me nervous for the upcoming season, so I would hate to see JT leaving as well. Last year when JT was injured, the team went into a funk. As soon as JT came back, they were knocking on all cylinders again. Fans and management/ownership are driven by different motivations. You can’t put dollars on team chemistry. And two big parts of Dodger team chemistry last year, were JT and Kiki. JM
