Dodgers: Cirque du Soleil Event to be Held at Dodger Stadium

Dodger Stadium will play host to a Cirque du Soleil event that will nearly last two months, from January 18 to March 8. The event will be called VOLTA and will be something of a motorcyclist exposition, but in Cirque du Soleil acrobatic fashion.

It is unclear if all or most of the Dodger Stadium renovations will be completed by then, but it is a good bet to say that they will.

After the tour at Dodger Stadium, Cirque du Soleil will have residency at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa from March 18 to April 19.

Here is the description that has been put out by Cirque du Soleil for their recent ticket giveaway for VOLTA:

Cirque du Soleil returns to Southern California with VOLTA, a captivating voyage of discovery! Inspired in part by the adventurous spirit that fuels the culture of street sports, VOLTA explores the themes of celebrating differences and unique qualities in a world where technology often isolates people from one another rather than freeing them. Driven by a stirring melodic score and inspired in part by the adventurous spirit that fuels the culture of street sports, VOLTA is a story of transformation. Playing under the Big Top at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles January 18-March 8, 2020 and at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa March 18-April 19, 2020.
