Dodgers legend and current free agent Clayton Kershaw is finding ways to fill up the time born from an extended MLB lockout. That includes, trying out a new part-time job.

Hopping behind the register wasn’t the only excitement in Kershaw’s week. The hurler also helped pass out 95 new pairs of shoes to elementary school kids in Dallas through a partnership between Kershaw’s Challenge Foundation and the Shoes That Fit charity.
Kershaw’s Challenge has been the pitcher’s philanthropic platform since 2011. Their list of 2021 beneficiaries includes organizations in Dallas, Los Angeles, Dominican Republic, and Zambia.
In one of the few silver linings of the MLB lockout, Kershaw has more time than ever to focus on his foundation’s efforts this offseason.
