Dodgers: Cody Bellinger Challenges Rams QB to Bring Home another for LA

The Dodgers just became the second team in Los Angeles to take home a professional title during the month of October. Their World Series run comes just a few weeks after the Los Angeles Lakers dominated in the Orlando Bubble to win the NBA Finals.

Right after they won, Dodgers outfielder got a text from Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff congratulating them. And what was Bellinger’s response to the text? A challenge to bring home yet another title to the city of Los Angeles. Goff recently revealed a brief conversation between the two professional athletes.

Cody [Bellinger] actually texted me back and said, ‘It’s your turn now. And I said, ‘Absolutely.’

LeBron James had already been hyping up Mookie Betts and the Dodgers since his win, supporting them every step of the way. James would often send out social media posts of encouragement and was seen wearing Dodgers gear in a few different places while celebrating.

If any city could pull off the triple-championship, it would be Los Angeles. So the Rams do have a legitimate shot at joining the Dodgers and Lakers as the kings of their respective sports. Their biggest problem is that they play in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL, with 2 teams already having 5 wins. It’s going to be tough, but they could indeed get it done.

  1. Ok. Enough is enough. I love the Lakers and I love the Dodgers, but I love the New Orleans Saints. I don’t like the Rams. I prefer the Chargers over the Rams.

    1. You’re just butthurt that they lost to the Rams in the playoffs. FYI you would’ve lost to the Patriots too so stop being bitter
