The Los Angeles Dodgers kicked off the interleague series vs. the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday. Pitcher Kenta Maeda took the mound looking to bounce back from his first loss of his career with the Dodgers.
The Dodgers had a day off Thursday in preparation for a long stretch of games.

And why wouldn’t he? This isn’t the first time Puig showed off his cannon arm. Closing out the 5th inning Maeda had put together a nice game so far.

But the Dodgers didn’t get discouraged making it a tie game top of the 7th started off by Carl Crawford.

Chase Utley tied the game with RBI single. In the bottom of the 8th the Blue Jays hit a bomb out of the park and take the lead.

Top of the 9th the Dodgers had the bases loaded, but failed to score.
