Dodgers Highlights: Watch Chris Taylor’s Ridiculous Throw to Save a Run

Chris Taylor is starting to make a habit out of throwing Trent Grisham out at home plate in big situations. The Dodgers utility man did it again on Thursday night in Los Angeles in what could have been a huge inning for the Padres. And it was glorious to watch happen live.

With the bases loaded and just one out, Mitch White was in a jam. He faced Jurickson Profar and he laced an 0-1 breaking ball hard into right. Fortunately, it was right at a well-positioned Chris Taylor who made the play with ease.

But it was the throw that grabbed the attention of everyone and sent Dodgers fans into a frenzy out at Chavez Ravine.

That throw obviously saved them a run, but it also could have prevented a huge inning for the Padres. San Diego had the heart of the order coming up after Profar, and CT saved the day. The Dodgers would go on to win 3-1 after Justin Turner launched 2 homeruns off of Joe Musgrove.

What kind of excitement could tonight bring for the Dodgers and Padres?
