LeBron James is a man that knows how to represent his city. The Akron Ohio native truly has a knack for taking on the culture of the city that he plays in, including a love of the other sports teams wherever he plays. That seems to be especially true with the Dodgers while he plays in Los Angeles.
LBJ has been seen on many occasions rooting for the Dodgers in their World Series run. He’s also hinted at parades to celebrate their championship along with the Lakers recent NBA Finals win. James was also seen wearing Dodgers-themed shoes on the court during the NBA bubble in Orlando, and now we know why.
Nike announced that they would be released a brand new Lebron 7 shoe, called the Baseball Blue colorway. The blue is set to match with the Dodgers colors and the red represents a few things. It matches with the team’s secondary color, and also is made to represent the stitching on a baseball as noted by the top of the shoes.

Anyone interested in getting these Dodgers shoes might have to wait. They will release via Nike Japan on February 22nd for approximately $229. Nike is expected to release the shoes stateside in the following days or weeks.
Other Dodgers News
The Dodgers are facing the potential for the steepest luxury tax fines and punishments available in 2021. Because of that, could they consider shedding salary by trading away a big contract? Maybe, but they also might just go all-in on 2021.
The Dodgers added to their potential bench talent this week by adding in a right-handed bat. Los Angeles signed infielder Matt Davidson to a minor league deal with an invitation to Spring Training. Davidson’s name appeared on the non-roster invitee list that was released by the team today, and the signing was later announced.
