The Dodgers introduced their new players on Wednesday afternoon.

The Dodgers newest acquisitions were introduced at a press conference in front of media on Wednesday afternoon. Mookie Betts and David Price, both acquired from Boston, were in attendance for a very welcoming media crowd.

Betts and Price answered questions from the media, and of course, they had to address the stress of having their trade put on hold. But more importantly, they talked about the excitement of getting the opportunity to come to Los Angeles.

To be able to jump onto a team like the Dodgers…it’s something special to be a part of and we’re both very excited to be a part of that.- David Price

Dressed out in their new Dodger home-whites, Betts and Price discussed the excitement and circumstances surrounding the trade rumors.

The pair also had a little bit of fun with it, especially David Price when asked about the opportunity to hit as a pitcher.

Mookie was also very excited about the opportunity to play alongside another MVP in Cody Bellinger.

When asked about playing in Los Angeles and whether the “Hollywood Lifestyle” was a concern, Mookie had the perfect answer.

It’s pretty easy to get lost in it, but I’m focused on baseball

After nearly a week of having their futures up in the air, it seems that Betts and Price are excited about a fresh start. The trade with the Red Sox was, of course, held up for almost six full days due to Boston’s concerns over medicals exchanged in the deal. That deal being held up ultimately led to the Angels scrapping an agreement with the Dodgers to acquire Ross Stripling and Joc Pederson.

  1. This team needed some color in order to win a World Series now they are ready. No dodger team has ever won it all with just whites and foreigners. You need the American black if you’re going to showcase a Dodgers championship
