The Los Angeles Dodgers managed to tie Sunday’s game with the Miami Marlins in the top of the ninth inning before losing on a Jeff Baker walk-off RBI double in the bottom half of the inning. More than the losing the game, the Dodgers held their breath as Yasiel Puig was visibly shaken up after crashing into the right field fence to make a leaping catch.
Puig was able to walk off the field under his own power, though using trainer Stan Conte’s shoulder for support. Following the game, manager Don Mattingly told reporters Puig pointed to multiple areas of his body, including his head, when asked what was bothering him. Puig underwent and passed a concussion test, and is considered day to day.
