The Dodgers are going to have to fight their way through the injury bug this year. It’s been a problem all season long and it continues to be this month. While the pitching staff has mostly been the source of many injuries, position players have not been immune.
The latest to get hurt was Chris Taylor. he fouled a ball off of his foot during the Padres series and had to miss a game. The Dodgers tried to get him back in there on Monday, but he was removed during the game after a play at the fence.
After a CT scan today, the Dodgers learned that Taylor had suffered a fracture in that foot. It’s a devastating blow to a team that has relied on him to be ready to go every single day in recent years. But the good news is that it happened now and not in September.
