Dodgers News: Former Astro Carlos Correa Faces Loud Boos at Dodger Stadium

The Dodgers are hosting the Twins for a quick two game series at Dodger Stadium this week before hitting the road to Kansas City. Usually, that all wouldn’t be very headline worthy, however, things have changed thanks to an offseason signing by Minnesota.

Former Astros villain Carlos Correa is now a Twin.

Since the baseball world learned of Houston’s sign stealing scheme which aided in leading the club to its first ever World Series title back in 2017, most Astros players current and past tend to get booed around the league. But at Dodger Stadium, it hits just a little different.

Of course, the Dodgers and Astros matched up in the 2017 World Series which saw Houston best Los Angeles 4 games to 3 to win the series. It was a couple years later that fans learned it wasn’t a level playing field against the cheating Astros.

Dodgers fans have certainly not been quick to forgive and forget. And at Chavez Ravine on Tuesday night, everyone very much reminded Correa that, well, they do not like him.

In case you do not recall, beyond the cheating, Correa has also said his fair share of dumb things since the revelation back in 2020.

For the rest of his career, the shortstop will face the brunt of boos around the league. Certainly, nowhere will it be worse than at Dodger Stadium
