Today, August 16th, is Yu Darvish’s 31st birthday and his first as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers!

Yu Darvish was the headliner of the 2017 trade deadline as the Los Angeles Dodgers stepped up to the plate and acquired as good of a player as they could as they attempt to push to their first World Series since 1988.
Darvish has already impressed on his new team, making two starts so far, pitching a combined 12 innings and allowing just two earned runs. He has already been involved in two Dodger victories as the team has won both of his first two starts. His earned run average has already dropped 0.20 points in his two starts as a Dodger.
Luckily for Darvish, he will be making his Dodger Stadium debut tonight as he celebrates his 31st birthday. The Dodgers will look for their second two-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox as the offense will be squaring up against Carlos Rodon.
So Happy Birthday, Yu! Hopefully 31 brings you a win tonight and a big trophy come October!
