Dodgers News: Police Turn Over Trevor Bauer Investigation To DA’s Office, Decision on Bauer Coming

The investigation into Trevor Bauer’s alleged assault is now complete. Pasadena PD has submitted the results of its investigation to the LA County District Attorney’s Office who will now determine if the former Cy Young award winner will be charged. We present the latest news regarding Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer and discuss how MLB could handle the situation.

Might they look into a suspension for the rest of the season and what will the Dodgers be able to do after that?



So many questions remain as the Dodgers wait for the situation to play out. There is also looming uncertainty as to when Major League Baseball will be able to make a decision and if it depends on the outcome of the legal investigation.

  1. It will be interesting to see what kind of “morals clause” the Dodgers had put into Bauer’s contract. That will determine whether or not he ever pitches again for the Dodgers—and if they can in effect void his contract.

  2. No way Bauer EVER pitches for the Dodgers again. The organization desperately wants to win the World Series again but alienating at least 50% of their fans is not something they will do to win it. If they are stuck with Bauer they will trade him and pay a big portion of his salary. That is if any team is dumb enough to take him.They will eat the entire contract if the morals clause does not invalidate the contract.The Dodgers are all about family values and no way Bauer fits that description.

  3. Regardless, Bauer should never pitch again for the Dodgers. Even if they have to pay him. It would ruin the reputation of the team. The Dodgers are better than this. Money isn’t everything.
