Dodgers: Positive COVID Tests With Broadcast Crew Prevents Travel

The Dodgers will wrap up the final game of the series against the Diamondbacks this afternoon. Seeking a 4-game sweep, Los Angeles will send out Walker Buehler to try and lock it down. He goes up against a tough righty in Zach Davies.

This weekend, the Dodgers are traveling to Philadelphia for a 3-game set. But they will not have their broadcast crew with the, as noted by the team today. That comes after a few positive COVID tests came back with members of the crew.

The Dodgers cited an abundance of caution as the reason that the crew will not travel with the team. They also did not list specific members of the crew that had testes positive, so the scheduled broadcast crew could be changing.

The Dodgers have not had any issue with on-field personnel or players with this latest update. Members of the media were held out of the clubhouse following the win last night, but it appears that was just to be safe.
