Finally! Some “news” about how process going into hiring a manager! (Kind of).
According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX’s MLB coverage, one name has leaked regarding who all will be interviewed to be the Los Angeles Dodgers’ next manager.
Sources: #Dodgers plan to interview Darin Erstad, University of Nebraska head coach (and former #Angels OFer) for their managerial opening.

Southern California fans will remember Erstad as the extremely hard-working centerfielder who won a World Series with the Angels. Erstad was something of a fan-favorite as an Angel because of said work ethic, a characteristic one would imagine he would carry over to a managerial role.
For fans, this marks the first taste of the extensive process Andrew Friedman, Farhan Zaidi and the rest of the Dodgers are embarking on in finding the right guy for the job. It isn’t much, but at least it’s something for a fan base who have been fairly visibly frustrated at the ambiguity thus far and potential candidates getting hired elsewhere.
