Dodgers Video: Scully Narrates Puig & Rollins Making Dinner Plans

The Los Angeles Dodgers first two of their four-game set with the Philadelphia Phillies was a bag of mixed results. They won the series opener Monday, though it took four hours. Then appeared flat Tuesday night in a loss to the team with the worst record in baseball.

However, all was well by Thursday. Clayton Kershaw tossed a complete-game shutout Wednesday and Zack Greinke followed with eight scoreless innings in the series finale. Additionally, Yasiel Puig got extra work with Dodgers hitting coach Mark McGwire and reaped immediate benefits.



Puig hit a two-run double and added a two-run home run in the eighth inning on Thursday, pushing the Dodgers’ lead to 6-0. While it was Joel Peralta and not Greinke on the mound for the ninth, Puig and Jimmy Rollins felt comfortable enough with their lead to begin discussing dinner plans, as told by legendary broadcaster Vin Scully:
