Dodgers Videos: Kendrick’s Walk-Off, Puig Wets TWC’s Kelli Tennant

The Los Angeles Dodgers entered Wednesday’s series finale with the Arizona Diamondbacks looking to win their seventh consecutive game over Arizona and ninth in a row against them at home.

Brett Anderson labored through five innings as he allowed four runs on eight hits, later admitting to not having his best stuff. He walked away without a decision as Kenley Jansen blew his first save opportunity since last September and finished as the winning pitcher.



Yasiel Puig had a big night at the plate, going 4-for-4 and coming up a triple shy of hitting for the cycle. While the Dodgers needed every bit of this three-run home run as the Diamondbacks fought their way back into the game, Puig’s ninth-inning walk certainly shouldn’t be overshadowed.

For that matter neither should Adrian Gonzalez’s walk that followed Puig’s. The pair of free passes handed out by Diamondbacks reliever Daniel Hudson set the stage for Howie Kendrick to play the role of hero:

Kendrick was of course selected for the postgame on-field interview in which Puig made a cameo appearance to dump Powerade on his teammate and Time Warner Cable’s Kelli Tennant:
