Dodgers: Watch Mookie Betts’ Incredible Throw to Save a Run

The Dodgers had the exact game that they needed following a loss to the Pirates. After almost being shut out by the pirates pitching on Monday night, Los Angeles came out and put up a lopsided number on Tuesday.

Tony Gonsolin was strong, but the bats were stronger. The Dodgers put up 11 runs on 15 hits in a dominant win. That included four different guys with multi hit games.

But there was also a level of defense that helped Gonsolin along the way. One play in the first inning came from the arm of Mookie Betts who threw out a runner at home. With two on and no one out Mookie came up firing on a line drive to right.

It was one of the better defense of plays of the game, and the second outfield assists of the series for Mookie. Up Next the Dodgers take on the Pirates this morning in Pittsburgh in the final game.
