We’ve seen some incredible first pitches thrown out over the years for the Dodgers. It seems like all around Major League Baseball, teams are bringing the excitement level up for the ceremonial toss to kick off games. We even got to see a robotic dinosaur do it not too long ago. We’ve also seen some hilarious flops, which are often the most remembered.
But Thursday night at the stadium was far from a flop first pitch. The Dodgers had rapper Saweetie in attendance to throw out the first pitch. She is the music icon behind hit songs such as Best Friend and My Type, to name a few.
But she added a little bit of her own flare to the first pitch. Not only did she do it from the mound, but she pulled it off with some very long nails. And it might be the most impressive first pitch we’ve ever seen because of that.

The Dodgers are hoping that they will have one of their guys on the mound to start the All-Star Game this year. But while many think Tony Goonsolin is deserving of the nod, ESPN’s Jeff Passan isn’t convinced. He spoke this week about why he thought Gonsolin should not get the start.
