MLB Unveils 2022 All-Star Game Uniforms, And They’re Phenomenal

MLB and Nike really swing and missed on the All-Star Game uniforms last season. For the first time in almost 100 years, players wore jerseys with the league names on them rather than the team names. The feedback was almost universally negative, both from fans as well as from the players.

But it looks like they’re making things right this year just in time for the Dodgers to host. MLB and Nike unveiled the uniforms today, and they look infinitely better than last year’s. Players will go back to wearing their team names on their jerseys with a little bit of a twist.

Rather than a normal home or away jersey, the All-Stars will wear their team names in gold. The away team will be wearing white jerseys adorned with the golden font and the American League will have grey jerseys with gold. MLB did much better this time around.

That Dodgers uniform glimmering under the California sun is going to look pretty amazing next week. MLB fans have already started to make their way out West for the All-Star week festivities, and it’s going to be a wild time on the best coast.

Up next for the Dodgers, they will travel to St Louis to play a 3-game series against the Cardinals starting tomorrow night. From there, they will return to Anaheim for a weekend series before the MLB All-Star Game.
